Dwell with Dignity's Thrift Studio 2020

If you’re a follower of the Dallas design scene, then you’ve likely frequented Dwell with Dignity’s annual Thrift Studio Pop-Up Shop. Well, we’re thrilled to say the 2020 shopping event is right around the corner + is sure to be better than ever as it marks the 10th year the Dallas nonprofit has hosted this fundraiser pop-up in the Dallas Design District.


Since its start in 2011, Thrift Studio has become one of the most highly anticipated events for the interior design community, as well as for local home decor and design enthusiasts. Similar to years past, Thrift Studio 2020, being hosted by Honorary Chair Shay Geyer of IBB Design and Art Chair ALG Collective, will house luxury home furnishings, décor, and original artwork, all of which will be available for purchase at dramatic discounts, with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting Dwell with Dignity’s mission to help families escape poverty and homelessness, one household at a time.

This year, prepared to be amazed by the all-star cast of interior designers set to showcase their talent at the 2020 Thrift Studio: Cathy Kincaid of Cathy Kincaid Interiors, Leslie Jenkins of Jenkins Interiors, Mia Brous and Kerri Farb of Madre Dallas, Monica Wilcox of Monica Wilcox Design, Morgan Farrow of Morgan Farrow Interiors, Josh Pickering of Pickering House Interiors, Twelve Twenty, and Lindley Arthur of Lindley Arthur Interiors.


The 2020 Art Co-Chairs are also equally as amazing + talented: Anna Curnes, Melissa Ellis, Christi Meril, and Annie Griffeth, all of ALG Collective, the working artist studio and showroom that this year’s Art Co-Chair’s call home. Plus, you know you’ll be in for a true treat whenArtist + Gallery Owner Debra Ferrari of Ferrari Gallery is the curator behind the original art pieces that will be showcased, each of which was created by one of 25 hand-selected artists.


And, given the great success of last month’s two kick-off events, it’s safe to say excitement for this year’s pop-up is palpable. In case you missed out, here’s a quick recap! Guests first united for the fundraiser’s official Kick-off Party at the beautiful new 30,000-sq. ft. Cantoni Trade showroom to toast to this year’s events and the 2020 featured designers. Later in the month, ALG Collective served as a beautiful backdrop for celebrating each of the 25 artists who will be donating their original pieces to Thrift Studio.
